Some things happen just when you need them. I've been spending too much time inside my head over the last two weeks. Uncertainties about the future, money, work, home, and family. Prioritizing, churning, tumbling. Butterflies and dinosaurs.
Most of my friends in Denver were out of town last weekend and I wasn't able to get a break from the house or get any adult company--never a good thing for my state-of-mind.
Anyway, I got a glimpse of life's greater purpose (karma? fate? gods?) when a friend offered to take Emily for the night just when I needed it most. They dyed easter eggs and I got a break for the night. You know who you are and have no idea how grateful I am. Didn't get much done, unless you count finding your base again.
Stardust, that's all we are. Made of atoms. Easy to forget what's important.
Hope it lasts awhile. Thank god for friends.
